H&S Technologies inc. designs its own software products and builds custom systems for other businesses. Two founders, one shared technical foundation, and a conviction that decides everything else.
Why H&S exists
Because most businesses bend the way they work to fit software designed for the average of ten thousand others. Every gap becomes a decision a human has to make in the system's place, every day, until the spreadsheet beside the software becomes the real tool. We build the other way around: the system fits the operation.
Businesses shouldn't adapt to software. Software should adapt to businesses.
Where we're going
H&S isn't an agency billing hours: it's a software company. We run our own products, and we build the systems we deliver on that same foundation. We work with companies that need engineering capacity they don't have in house. What gets built today has to hold for ten years — which is why the technical foundation under our products and under the systems we deliver is the same one.
What decides, when a decision is needed
These aren't a charter framed in a hallway: they're the rules that settle our technical and commercial decisions, including when they cost us an engagement.
We say no when it's no
If off-the-shelf software fits a need better, we say so — and we say which one. An engagement that doesn't serve the client doesn't serve us either: it ends badly, and it gets talked about.
A mechanism, not a promise
We publish no client figures, no testimonials and no averages. What can be checked is software you can open, a method you can read and commitments you can hold us to. A testimonial can't be.
You stay the owner
The system and the data belong to the client, exportable at any time, in an open format. We never use the difficulty of leaving as a retention argument.
Built to last ten years
The same technical foundation for our products and for the systems we deliver, the same database in development and production, verified migrations, backups whose restore is proven. What isn't tested isn't delivered.
What can be measured, is
A check that cannot fail proves nothing. We put our own verifications to the test before trusting them — and we report what we measured, not what we hoped for.
The founders
Two complementary roles: understanding an operation, and building the system that carries it. Neither is enough alone — technically flawless software that doesn't fit the trade helps nobody, and the reverse doesn't survive six months in production.

Understanding how a business actually runs before a line of code is written: where requests come in, where information changes hands, which decisions repeat. That work decides what gets built — and what doesn't.
Co-Founder — Technology, Product & Engineering
Architecture, reliability and what holds over time: delivered systems have to survive an outage, a migration and a change of team. Software that works on delivery day is only half delivered.
The founders are not named here, and that is deliberate: what you judge is what we build, not who we are. No bought face, no embellished biography, no anticipated title — what is written is what we actually do in the company. Our identities are on file with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec, under the business number shown at the foot of this page.
